This fictional project imagined the 2025 edition of the Quais du Polar festival under the concept “A festival to solve”, with a mechanical puzzle called L’Entrecroisé de Boer as its central element. This unique puzzle, in which a single piece without a notched edge plays a key role, symbolizes the crucial moment in an investigation when a central element solves everything.
The poster, designed around this puzzle, is enriched with illustrations evoking different worlds of crime fiction. These illustrations, integrated into distinct parts of the poster, echo the visuals found in the chapter openings.
